The odelo group ends the year 2017 with a significant success. The production sites Geislingen and Prebold (Slovenia) received the highly coveted "TPM-Factory of the Year" award in the national and international category.
Because of business growth of odelo Slovenija in 2017 and onward, after less than a full year after officially laying the foundation stone, the company opened a new production and logistics hall on its main location in Prebold. Distinguished guests, headed by Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, dr. Miro Cerar and the Minister of Economical Development and Technology, Mr. Zdravko Počivalšek, cut the opening ribbon and officially opened more than 6600 m² new production and logistics area
odelo receives the GKV innovation award for the rear light of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate. Managing Director Muhammet Yildiz accepted the award on 19 October at the K trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The odelo group continues its successful work in the year 2016: In the main production location in Črešnjevci, Slovenia, 5.300 m² were renovated and 10.000 m² new production and logistics space have been opened. The new renovated production and logistics area was officially opened by Dr. Miro Cerar, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia and Mr. Zdravko Počivalšek, the Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology. Throughout the day the foundation stone for the construction of new odelo spaces on an area of 10.000 m² in the company’s headquarter in Prebold was laid as well.
The Slovenian-German Chamber of Commerce together with the German Embassy in Slovenia awarded odelo Slovenija with the prize of the German economy 2016. The ceremony was held as a part of the Days of Slovenian - German economy in Bled.
Company odelo Slovenija from Prebold is the recipient of international logistics award "elogistics award 2016", awarded by the working group AKJ Automotive from Germany.
odelo is ranked among Germany’s best employers. The manufacturer of rear lamps was awarded by the news magazine Focus. For the determination of the ranking over 70.000 employees have been questioned. Within the industry “automobile and supplier” odelo is ranked on place 28.
The 6. Conference "World Class Manufacturing", which was held in March in Ljubljana focused again on the optimization of production and logistics processes, implementation of lean production methods, supply chain and other processes in companies. This time, however, with an emphasis on the opportunities offered by digitization and the industry 4.0.
As the first automotive supplier world-wide, odelo is getting the organic light- emitting diode technology (OLED) ready for series production in rear lamps. Automobile designers can create visionary lighting and design effects, which will be seen at the rear of premium cars on the road soon.
The manufacturer of rear lamps from Geislingen was presented with the TPM AWARD in December 2015, a distinction which is awarded to companies which are safeguarding the future optimally.
