From your point of view, what differentiates odelo from other employers?

My first job was at a service company. Comparing public sector companies to private sector companies is like night and day. The odelo company belongs to the private sector with economic activity, where the obvious difference is mainly in the recruitment. Here the knowledge, experience and results of the work count. We have quite a free hand in creating, and creativity and innovation are rewarded.

What is one of your typical tasks at odelo?

My tasks include the automation of work processes, the optimization of devices to achieve the set standards, as well as the stability and centrality of the production process. I am responsible for systematic product quality control, SPC analysis and MES communication with the ERP system. I also take care of the ICT connectivity of SW and HW devices and prepare programs for the project process of devices.

Which advice would you give to a new employee on his/her first day at work?

Watch carefully and learn … In our department we have a wide breadth of different profiles of knowledge and experience. The intertwining of general and professional competences is noticeable in all segments. Lifelong learning, communication and on-line information, the development of knowledge, skills and ability to direct and connect in a proactive manner are just one segment of a successful workflow organization.

What are you especially proud of the most?

A pretty general question. I am proud of many things in my life. First of all, I am proud of my family and our community. Of course, I am also proud of my career path and creative work-related successes.

What interests do you have outside of work?

My passion has always been, and continues to be, an artistic focus on music. I also enjoy to actively participate in recreational activities by playing various sports.

What else would you like to see/experience in your life?

My principle is: live for the moment and always stay active. This goes beyond the philosophy of the mindset of the past and encompasses a vision of the future. Of course, I want to experience a generation of descendants who will benefit from our experience and refine past work with their aspect of technological advancement. I want to devote more quality time to family and socializing with friends ... After all, I do not want to sound unclear or old-fashioned and read like a cheap phrase from a beauty pageant, but yet: who doesn't want peace and prosperity in the world?
