Participation of odelo Slovenija in the "Days of the Industrial Robotics".

From 31st march to 4th April 2014 Days of industrial robotics took place at Ljubljana Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The event was organized by students under the supervision of Prof. dr. Marko Munih. Preparation of the event begins at the beginning of the academic year, when students either individually or in a group come up with an interesting idea. Throughout the year they develop and implement the idea from beginning to end and on the mentioned event they present it to the public. This year also odelo Slovenija was a part of the event because robots are also an important part of our production process. Beside that, this is the best opportunity to encourage students' creativity and nevertheless follow development in this field.

Much attention attracted a robot, which independently baked waffles and poured them with chocolate and in addition to that, it prepared coffee with milk and sugar. Not less attention attracted other projects such as: we played table hockey with robot, robot recognized the smile on our face and poured cedevita in a glass, robot caught the ball, which was thrown into the basket, etc. Students showed their exceptional talent and presented a glimpse into the future. At odelo Slovenia we are very satisfied with what we have seen and we are even more convinced that the project Days of industrial robotics encourages innovation and pushes the boundaries, an therefore we are proud to have been part of the whole event.
